J. Robert Mann, Jr. is Chairman of E-J Electric Installation Co., founded in 1899, and President of E-J Technical Services Inc. An honors graduate of Yale University, Mr. Mann is an electrical engineer by education and training. He is the recipient of the Yale Science and Engineering Association "Award for Meritorious Service to Yale University", The Yale Medal, Yale's highest award to honor outstanding individual service to the University. He holds a Professional Engineering license in New York State and Master Electrician licenses in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Washington, and Oregon. Mr. Mann is responsible for all phases of electrical projects including estimating, engineering, final preparation of bids, staff organization, supervision, and contract control.

E-J Electric Installation Company is active in all facets of electrical contracting. Projects are competitively bid and/or negotiated and vary in size to over $80 million. Typical installations include: office buildings, hospitals power-generation facilities, data communication centers, airline computer systems (120 cities in the United States), industrial plants, universities, movie studios, transit facilities, and high voltage distribution. Clients include the United Nations, U.S. Postal Services, Columbia University, United States Tennis Center, British Airways, NBC, CBS, Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center and the International Toy Center.

E-J Technical Services Inc. acts as owner's representative on construction projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $20 million. In addition, the company provides real estate investors, owners and lenders with inspection, evaluation and detailed written reports on architectural, structural, mechanical, energy and code problems of existing structures, facilities, and sites.

E-J Communication Systems provides expertise in all phases of the most complex data/telecommunications systems. As a single source vendor, E-J Communication Systems designs, furnishes, installs, and maintains the full range of high-technology networks. On site experience covers installations from corporate office buildings to multi-site financial service facilities. The company also specializes in providing other network services including building management, life and fire safety, security, and audio visual systems.
